Portraits:
I use several methods in constructing my portraits. My favorite technique is the same one I use for my "Fabricating Nature" quilts. I always start with a photograph, enlarge the image and applique with fusible web using paint where needed for depth.
The technique for Connor and Sydney involved using an ink jet printer. I manipuate the photograph on my computer until I have the image I want to portray, I then add paint and fabric as needed.
