Mini Nature
This is the short version of my Fabricating Nature Class. We work from small 5"x 7", 8" x 10" or 11" x 14" photos. You will learn how to take one of your photographs, or a photograph you have permission to use, and make a small fiber art piece that can be matted and framed or bound to hang on the wall.
We will discuss the best fabric choices, the technique I use and how to choose the best background fabric for the piece. I will teach you how to use many different types of paints to enhance your art work. We will discuss the finishing process as well. ( I will work with you ahead of class, via email, by looking at your photograph and determining if it will work for this technique. I will then give you suggestions on fabric).
